Analisis Pengaruh Krisis Moneter Terhadap Jumlah Kredit yang Disalurkan Oleh Credit Union (Studi Kasus : CV. Cinta Mulia Pematang Siantar)

Since the mid July 1997, Indonesia took place a prolonge economic crisis and it is still continuing until now. The economic crisis has changed in the principles of nation and state life. The liquidated banks and fell in exchange rate of rupiah to foreign exchange and the increasingly higher prices of basical needs were all consequences of the monetary crisis. Inspite of banking sector, other financial institutions also bad the same challenges after the occurrence of such a monetary crisis. Credit Union was established in July 21 of 1971 at Budi Mulia by several teachers/officials and non teachers/ officials collected in an English and development studies. It offered some service product to its members such as education, consultation, capital supply (saving mobilization), capital allocation, services, joint protection fund. Provision of credit with the members will be charged on interest rate according to the accepted agreement. Based on the research, it can be drawn a conclusion that the rupiah exchange equivalent to Rp/USD had no significant effect on the total allocated credit where as inflation rate had a significant effect on the total allocated credit as provided by the Cinta Mulia Credit Union Pematang Siantar. The determination coefficient as of 11.1 % showed both variables of exchange rate Rp 1 USD and inflation rate had significant effect on the total allocated credit as of 11.1 %. It was caused by the Cinta Mulia Credit Union Pematang Siantar engaged in service delivered for the members and indirectly related to inflation rate and exchange rate of Rp l USD.
