Peran Densitas Papila di Permukaan Dorsal Lidah Terhadap Ambang Pengecapan (Tinjauan Pustaka)
MetadataShow full item record
The dorsal tongue is rich in papillae, most of which contain multiple taste buds. Each taste bud is characterized by a single apical pore through which taste cells within a bud extend microvili that provide a surface for the reception of tastants, transduction of chemical into electrical signals, and activation of taste cells. Taste threshold to sweet, bitter, sour, or salty, is not only influenced by papillae density, but the structure of taste bud in the papillae, saliva, and oral condition, should be considered.
