The sexual life of homosexuals has a high impact on the infection of HIV/AIDS because of the habit of changing partners. There are 421 new cases of HIV/AIDS in Medan. The data of IMS/VCT Clinic of Teladan Puskesmas finds one person dies because of HIV/AIDS. This finding will become a serious problem if there are no measures taken. The objective of the research was to find out the behavior transgender in an attempt to prevent from HIV/AIDS at Teladan Puskesmas, Medan, in 2016. The research used a qualitative method, using homosexuals in Medan as informants. The data were gathered by conducting in-depth interviews with homosexuals with the criteria which had been determined by choosing the respondents, using purposive sampling technique. The result of the research showed that although the respondents had understood the symptom, infection, prevention, the knowledge of condom, the attitude toward the prevention from HIV/AIDS,. In preventing from HIV/AIDS in which the number of different sexual intercourses in three month, the respondents should use condoms, do sport, take antibiotic, take traditional medicines, examine their health in CVT Clinic, and get condoms from LSM GSM. It is recommended that the homosexuals make the habit of clean and health life behavior, avoid free sex, use condoms in sexual intercourse, either with their customers or with their permanent mates. Health care providers should prevent from HIV/AIDS through approaching program and assisting should go on in order to decrease new cases of HIV/AIDS and the risk for death as low as possible.
