    Pembuatan Superkonduktor Suhu Tinggi Tl2-xCrxBa2CaCu2O8-δ (Tl-2212) Dengan Reaksi Stoikiometri

    Abstract
    High Temperature Superconductor Tl2-xCrxBa2CaCu2O8-δ (Tl-2212) dengan x= 0.0, ..., 0.3 have been synthesized via the solid state reaction method (stoichiometric) with BaCO3 precursor. The powders were sintered at 900oC for 24 hours with twice grounding. The powders were then pressed into pellets of 13 mm diameter and 2 mm thickness under a load of 7 metric tons using hydraulic press for 10 minutes with addition of Tl2O3 and Cr2O3. The pellets were sintered at 900oC in a quarz tube in oxygen flow for 4-5 mins followed by furnace cooling. The van der Pauw method with silver paste contact has been employed to study the resistance of materials. The resistance and temperatur dependence were conducted in the range of 300K-30K using Edwards Cryogenics 8200 and CTL-Cryogenics model 22 compressor and X-ray powder diffraction has been employed to identify the Tl-2212 phase occurence with 2Θ= 0o-60o. The resistance versus temperature dependance curve showed that all samples have a metal characteristic at normal state. The critical temperature in the range of 75K-96K have been achieved. These results indicated that all of our samples were high temperature superconductors. The critical temperature increased from 93K to 96K with addition of 0.2%mole Cr2O3. XRD results showed that the Tl-2212 as a major phase.
     
    Superkonduktor Tl2-xCrxBa2CaCu2O8-δ (Tl-2212) dengan x= 0.0, ..., 0.3 telah disediakan melalui metode konvensional (reaksi stoikiometri) dengan bahan pelopor serbuk Barium Karbonat. Bahan pelopor disinter pada suhu 9000C selama 24 jam dengan 2 kali penggerusan. Setelah Tl2O3 dan Cr2O3 ditambahkan, serbuk ditekan dengan penekan hidrolik sebesar 7 ton selama 10 menit untuk menghasilkan pelet setebal 2 mm dan diameter 13 mm. Pelet selanjutnya disinter pada 900oC dalam tube kuarsa sambil dialiri gas oksigen selama 4-5 menit dan didinginkan sampai temperatur kamar. Hambatan sampel ditentukan dengan metode van der Pauw dengan cat perak sebagai kontaknya menggunakan pompa vakum model kompressor Edwards Cryogenics 8200 dan CTL-Cryogenics model 22 dalam batas temperatur 300K-30K. Keberadaan fasa Tl-2212 ditentukan dengan difraksi sinar-X metode serbuk dengan 2Θ= 0o-60o. Dari hasil kurva hambatan melawan temperatur, terlihat bahwa sample bersifat logam sebelum menunjukkan gejala superkonduktivitas. Temperatur kritis berkisar dari 75K sampai 96 yang mengindikasikan sampel tergolong superkonduktor suhu tinggi. Temperatur kritis meningkat dari 93K menjadi 96K dengan penambahan 0.2 mole% Cr2O3, Analisa XRD menunjukkan semua sampel yang disediakan berfasa mayor Tl-2212.
