Pengaruh Sosiodemografi Dan Karakteristik Pekerjaan Terhadap Keinginan Pindah Kerja Bidan Di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai
Abstract
Midwife is one of the trained health personnel who are responsible for mother and child health service. The rate of turnover for 2004-2007 was 19,75%. That is affecting to continuity of delivery assistance and mother and child health service.
The purpose of this study with explanatory research type is to explain the influence of socio-demography and job characteristics on midewives intention to move their work site in Serdang Bedagai District. The population of this study were 372 midwives an 80 of them were selected through the proportional sampling technique to be samples. The data were analyzed through logistic regression test at the level of confidence of 95%.
The result of this study shows that, in terms of the variable of sosio-demography, age (p=0,134), marital status (p=0,465), civil-servant status (p=0,510), position (p=0,717), and length of service (p=0,804) are not have significant influence to intention the midwives to move their work site. In term of the variable of job characteristics, work load (p=0,813) and compensation (p=0,880) are not have influence on the intention the midwives to move their work site. The variables which have influence to intention the midwives to move are work-related (p=0,013), and social support (p=0,002).
It is suggested to District Health Service to improved a meeting periodically among midwive and community of figures and recruitment planning of midwife according to requirement and location as according to social characteristic and culture dan to facilited a meeting periodically of midwives and advice on temporary employee management is required in order to keep them fit the need. Bidan merupakan salah satu tenaga kesehatan terlatih yang bertanggung jawab terhadap pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak. Angka turnover rate bidan di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai selama 2004–2007 sebesar 19,75%, sehingga berdampak terhadap keberlangsungan pertolongan persalinan dan pelayanan kesehatan ibu dan anak.
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh sosiodemografi dan karakteristik pekerjaan terhadap keinginan pindah bidan kerja di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survai dengan tipe eksplanatory research dengan populasi seluruh bidan berjumlah 372 orang, dan sampel sebanyak 80 orang. Pengambilan sampel secara proporsional sampling to size dan dianalisis dengan uji regresi logistik pada taraf kepercayaan 95%.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada variabel sosiodemografi diketahui tidak ada pengaruh signifikan umur (p=0,134), status perkawinan (p=0,465), status kepegawaian (p=0,510), jabatan (p=0,717), masa kerja (p=0,804) terhadap keinginan pindah kerja bidan. Pada variabel karakteristik pekerjaan, tidak ada pengaruh beban kerja (p=0,813) dan kompensasi (p=0,880) terhadap keinginan pindah kerja bidan. Ada pengaruh hubungan kerja (p=0,013), dan dukungan sosial (p=0,002) terhadap keinginan pindah kerja bidan di Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai.
Disarankan kepada dinas kesehatan intensif meningkatkan pertemuan dengan melibatkan tokoh masyarakat dan bidan secara berkala, perencanaan perekrutan bidan sesuai kebutuhan dan penempatan sesuai dengan karakteristik sosial dan budaya masyarakat setempat, dan kepada puskesmas agar memfasilitasi pertemuan antara bidan dengan tenaga medis setiap bulan, serta melakukan advokasi tentang pengelolaan pegawai tidak tetap agar sesuai dengan kebutuhan.
