Profil Penderita Kanker Payudara Di Departemen Ilmu Bedah RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan Pada Tahun 2015

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Kanker payudara merupakan tumor ganas pada jaringan payudara dan merupakan penyebab kematian kedua. Insidensi kanker payudara di Indonesia menempati urutan pertama dari seluruh jenis kanker pada perempuan yaitu 38 per 100.000 perempuan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui profil penderita kanker payudara di departemen Ilmu Bedah RSUP Haji Adam Malik Medan dari Januari 2015 sehingga Desember 2015 dan mengetahui distribusi frekuensi umur, riwayat tumor payudara sebelumnya, riwayat keluarga, riwayat melahirkan, keluhan utama, lokasi kanker, stadium klinik, klasifikasi histopatologi dan penatalaksanaan pada penderita kanker payudara. Lokasi penelitian di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik, Medan pada tahun 2015. Metode: Penelitian bersifat deskriptif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan metode total sampling. Data penelitian diambil secara retrospektif (sekunder) dari rekam medis pada tahun 2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua penderita kanker payudara yang dirawat inap di RSUP Haji Adam Malik, Medan dari Januari 2015 hingga Desember 2015. Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian ini dinyatakan bahwa jumlah penderita kanker payudara di Rumah Sakit Umum Pusat Haji Adam Malik, Medan pada tahun 2015 adalah 199 orang. Frekuensi berdasarkan kelompok umur tertinggi pada kelompok umur 41-50 tahun (42,7%), riwayat tumor payudara sebelumnya tidak ada (94,5%), riwayat keluarga ada (50,8%), riwayat melahirkan anak pernah (59,3%), benjolan di payudara (43,7%), lokasi kanker di payudara kiri kuadran lateral atas (34,2%), stadium IIIB (41,2%), invasif duktal karsinoma (89,4%), dan kemoterapi (53,8%). Kesimpulan: Penelitian diharapkan dapat membantu pihak rumah sakit dalam pelayanan khusunya pada penderita kanker payudara.

Background: Breast Cancer is a malignant tumor on breast tissues and the second death cause of cancer in woman. Incidence rate of Breast Cancer in Indonesia is in the first rank of all kinds of cancer in woman namely 38 per 100.000 women. Objective: The study was conducted to observe the breast cancer profiles in General Hospital of Haji Adam Malik, Medan from January 2015 to December 2015 and also the distribution of age, history of previous breast tumor, family history, history of giving birth, complaints at first medical visit, location of cancer, stage grouping, histopathological types and treatment offered. Method: This study is descriptive based. The data was collected with total sampling method. The data used in the study was taken retrospectively (secondary) from the medical records of the year 2015. The population of this study was all the patients suffering breast cancer in the General Hospital of Haji Adam Malik, Medan from January till December 2015. Results: From the study conducted, the results indicate that the frequency of patients suffering breast cancer in the General Hospital of Haji Adam Malik, Medan in the year 2015 were 199 patients. From the total patients the highest proportion of patient based on age is from 41 to 50 (42,7%), without history of previous breast tumor (94,5%), with family history (50,8), history of giving birth (59,3%), lump in breast as complaint at the first medical visit (43,7), location of cancer on the upper lateral quadrant of the left breast (34,2%), group stage IIIB (41,2%), histopathological type invasive ductal carcinoma (89,4%) and chemotherapy as treatment offered (53,8%). Conclusion: This research is believed to aid the hospital in its service especially towards patients who are suffering with breast cancer
