Issue Date: 20-Mar-2017
Abstract: Language typically plays the main role in human communication particularly when individuals are working with others. It is used to turn message originatin in the human mind into tangible utterances in the outside world. Aronoff and Janie (2001: 108) argue that the basic function of language is as a means of communication, and this communicative function is expressed in the utterance: an ordered arrangement of words which is inf1uenced by many factors, primarily the language context (van Dijk. 2008: 159).
