According to World Health Organization, about 25 million women around the world are expected to experience menopause annually. The increasing number of postmenopausal women is definitely going to cause problems, especially in relation to complaints during menopause (1-3). Paramedic as doctor's partner in medical service, is also affected by menopausal complaints. Their work needs professionalism in patient management, clinical skill, and drug administration. The existence of discomfort caused by menopausal complaints will influence their quality of patient's care, consequently increasing mortality and morbidity of the patients in their work unit. An objective diagnostic tool is necessary to assess menopausal complaints to treat them effectively, especially in paramedic.
