Wing bean in one food that consumed in yong pods. Wing bean only used as seed and the rest thrown away. Wing bead seeds had good nutrient content, the nutrient contect equivalent to the nutritional content of soy which is a good source of vegetable protein. Winged bean seed protein content 32.8 mg, carbohydrates 36.5 g and 17.0 g of fat. The type of this researched was experiment. The aim of this researched was to know the nutrient content and economic value. Calculating of nutrient contenct were using nutrisurvey. Based on calculating using nutrisurvey of 100 gram of material, wing bean brownies obtained energy 289.5 kcal, 10.1 g protein, 20.8 g carbohydrates and fats 27.0 gr. Compared with general brones using wheat flour, it contained nutritional value is 434.0 kcal of energy, protein 4.0 g, carbohydrates 76.6 g, and 14.0 gram of fat. Wing bean’s brownies has advantages than wheat flour brownies, because the energy and carbohydrate is lower than wheat flour brownies and the protein is higher than wheat flour brownies and the protein is higher than wheat flour brownes. From the economic side, wing ben brownies is quite economical. The capital to made one dough wing bean brownies were around Rp. 13.000. It can obtained 22-24 pieces of brownies with 5 cm of diameter. Wing bean brownies can offer Rp. 1000 per piece. Suggestions of this research is the pople can use the wing bean brownies as the alternative of meal that high protein and low carbohydrate.
