dc.description.abstractKepinding tanah (Scotionophara coarctata) merupakan salah satu hama penting pada tanaman padi di Aceh khususnya Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara, menyebabkan kerusakan sepanjang musim tanam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui preferensi, ketahanan dan pengaruh umur tanaman terhadap kerusakan beberapa varietas padi akibat S. coarctata. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai bulan Oktober 2013 sampai Juni 2014 di Kutacane Kabupaten Aceh Tenggara dan Laboratorium Terpadu MIPA Universitas Sumatera Utara. Pengujian preferensi menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Pengujian ketahanan tanaman menggunakan Rancangan Split Plot dengan varietas sebagai petak utama dan waktu infestasi sebagai anak petak dengan tiga ulangan. Hasil pengujian preferensi rata-rata S. coarctata terhadap lima varietas padi yang diuji secara berturut-turut yaitu Ciherang (7,55 ekor/tanaman), Cibogo (6,67 ekor/tanaman), IR64 (6,21 ekor/tanaman), Mekongga (4,30 ekor/tanaman) dan Bernas (4,27 ekor/tanaman). Skoring ketahanan menunjukkan bahwa varietas IR64, Mekongga, Cibogo dan Bernas dapat dikategorikan pada skala 1 (tahan) dengan intensitas serangan rendah, sedangkan Ciherang dikategorikan pada skala 2 (agak tahan) dengan intensitas serangan sedang. Kehilangan hasil berturut-turut varietas yang memiliki tingkat paling rendah yaitu Mekongga, Cibogo, IR64, Ciherang dan Bernas. Umur tanaman padi berpengaruh terhadap intensitas kerusakan akibat serangan S. coarctata pada kelima varietas padi yang diuji.en_US
dc.description.abstractRice Black Bug as Scotionophara coarctata is one of important rice pest in Southeast Aceh districts which caused damage throughout the growing season. This research was to study the preferences of S. coarctata in some rice varieties, resistance test and the influence of the age of rice replanting against damage due to S. coarctata. The experiment was conducted from October 2013 to June 2014 at Kutacane in the Southeast Aceh Regency. Preferences test used completely randomized design (CRD) factorial with three replications. Plant resistance test using a split plot design with varieties as main plots and time infestations as subplots with three replications. The results showed that preferences S. coarctata average of five rice varieties tested consecutively Ciherang (7.55 bugs/plant), Cibogo (6.67 bugs/plant), IR64 (6.21 bugs/plant), Mekongga (4.30 bugs/plant) and Bernas (4.27 bugs/plant). Based on the scoring resistance, that IR64, Mekongga, Cibogo and Bernas can be categorized on a scale 1 (resistant) to the low intensity of the attacks, while Ciherang categorized on a scale 2 (moderately resistant). Based on the level of yield loss in a row varieties which have the lowest level of yield loss is Mekongga, Cibogo, IR64, Ciherang and Bernas. It is known that the age of the rice plants affect the intensity of the damage caused by the attack on S. coarctata five rice varieties tested.en_US
