Ekoleksikal Padi, Kelambir, Mergat, dan Buluh: Kajian Ekolinguistik Bahasa Melayu Serdang
This article discusses ecolexical padi, kelambir, mergat, and buluh in Bahasa Melayu Serdang then it stands for BMS. It concerns how the ecolexical vocabulary padi, kelambir, mergat, and buluh which represents the local knowledge vocabulary about BMS environment. In order to get the qualitative data it uses interview, participate observation, and some documentations. The method uses qualitative. Padi,kelambir,mergat, and buluh, are lexically investigated by using ecolinguistic theory specially ecolinguistic parameter as interrelationship, diversity, and environment. Furthermore semantic theory is used in order to inspect the lexical meaning, external referential meanwhile antropolinguistic theory is used in culture meaning. The result shows that the lexical of padi, kelambir mergat, and, buluh, idioms about the lexical representing the richness of nature, language, and Serdang Malay culture. The old generations still know, understand and even they use the life principle represented by the lexical of padi, kelambir, mergat, and buluh. However based on the interview with young generations the idioms and knowledge about the lexical padi,kelambir, mergat,and buluh, with the eksternal referential meaning have rarely used. Even a number of young generation personal having no knowledge as well as understanding, moreover use the lexical richness kelambir, mergat, and buluh.
