dc.description.abstractStudi pembuatan dan karakterisasi pasir cetak dari campuran resin phenol dengan pasir silika dan campuran resin poliester dengan pasir silika telah dilakukan. Pada resin phenol memiliki nilai permeabilitas dari 12 m2 hingga 15 m2, sedangkan pada resin poliester memiliki nilai permeabilitas dari 10 m2 hingga 7 m2, kedua resin masih memenuhi syarat standar PT. Growth Asia Foundry. Analisa kuat geser (shear strength), menunujukkan bahwa nilai kuat geser (shear strength) menggunakan resin phenol memenuhi syarat standar PT. Growth Asia Foundry pada kosentrasi 1,8%, 1,9% dan 2% yaitu 6,5 Psi, 6,5 Psi dan 8 Psi. Sedangkan nilai kuat geser (shear strength) menggunakan resin poliester pada kosentrasi 6%:3%, 7%:3,5% yaitu 7,5 Psi dan 12 Psi.en_US
