dc.description.abstractBakteri kitinolitik Bacillus sp. BK17 telah diketahui menghambat pertumbuhan F. oxysporum pada benih cabai.Viabilitas sel bakteri merupakan faktor penting dalam menggunakan sel bakteri untuk pengendali hayati. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi viabilitas dan potensi bakteri kitinolitik Bacillus sp. BK17 dalam formulasi tablet sebagai pengendali hayati terhadap benih cabai yang terinfeksi F. oxysporum. Viabilitas bakteri kitinolitik Bacillus sp. BK17 berkurang dalam 40 hari penyimpanan.Bacillus sp. BK17 dalam formulasi tablet mampu mengendalikan layu Fusarium pada benih cabai masing-masing yaitu 63,65% pada tablet masa simpan 0 hari dan 28,57% pada tablet masa simpan 15 hari. Formulasi tablet Bacillus sp. BK17 dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman dan berat kering benih cabai.en_US
dc.description.abstractChitinolytic bacteria Bacillus sp. BK17 has been known to inhibit the growth of Fusarium oxysporum on chili seeds. Bacterial cell viability is an important factor in using the cell for biological control. This study was aimed to evaluate viability of chitinolytic bacteria Bacillus sp. BK17 and its potential in tablet formulation as a biological control againstF. oxysporum. Viability of Bacillus sp. BK17 cell was reduced in 40 days of storage. Bacillus sp. BK17 in tablet formulation was able to control Fusarium wilt on chili seeds by 63,65% of 0 day stored and 28,57% by 15 days stored, respectively. In addition, Bacillus sp. BK17 in tablet formulation increased height and biomass on chili seedsen_US
