    Abstract
    Nitrit () biasanya ditemukan dalam jumlah yang sangat sedikit, lebih sedikit daripada nitrat, karena bersifat tidak stabil dengan keberadaan oksigen. Garam-garam nitrit digunakan sebagai penghambat terjadinya proses korosi pada industri. Parameter nitrit diukur dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri Portable DR 2010, dengan panjang gelombang 507 nm. Hasil pengukuran dinyatakan dalam mg/L. Kadar nitrit yang diperoleh yaitu range 0,004 mg/L-0,011 mg/L. Dari hasil analisis yang diperoleh dapat diketahui bahwa kadar nitrit dalam masing-masing air sumur memenuhi standart Peraturan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia Nomor 20 Tahun 1990, Tanggal 5 Juni 1990 Tentang Pengendalian Pencemaran Air.
     
    Nitrite (NO2) is usually found in a number of the very few less than on nitrate, because it is not stable with the presence of oxygen. Nitrite salts are used as inhibitors corrosion process in industry. Nitrite parameters were measured using the spectrophotometric Portable DR 2010, with a wavelength 507 nm. Measurement results expressed in mg/L. Nitrite levels obtained by range of 0,004 mg/L-0,011 mg/L. From the results of the analysis can be made that the nitrite levels in each well water meets standards Indonesian Government Regulation No. 20 of 1990, dated June 5 of 1990 on the control of water pollution.
