Dental and mouth health constitutes an integral part of health as a whole; therefore, it needs to be cultivated by all people. The amount of monthly and repeated visits at Dalu Sepuluh B Puskesmas in Tanjung Morawa Subdistrict decreased significantly. In 2011, there were 165 patients or 0.21% of the population who visited this Puskesmas, and in 2012 it decreased to 125 patients or 0.15% of the population. It was far below the national target of 4%. The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of knowledge and attitude of patients on the repeated use of service at Dental and Mouth Polyclinic of Dalu Sepuluh B Puskesmas, Tanjung Morawa Subdistrict. The type of the research was an explanatory survey. The research was conducted from April to July, 2013. The population was 125 patients who had used the service at Dental and Mouth Polyclinic of the working area of Dalu Sepuluh B Puskesmas, and 95 of them were used as the samples. The data were gathered by conducting interviews with questionnaires and analyzed by using multiple logistic regression test at α=0.05. The result of the research showed that, statistically, knowledge (dental disease, dental examination, and dental care) and attitude (dental disease and its prevention, dental susceptible pain, dental serious pain, and service of Puskesmas) had positive and significant influence on the repeated use of service at Dental and Mouth Polyclinic of Dalu Sepuluh B Puskesmas, Tanjung Morawa Subdistrict. The knowledge in dental examination had the most dominant influence with coefficient value (β) = 2.288. It is recommended that 1) Deli Serdang Health Office and Dalu Sepuluh B Puskesmas a) inform people through radio broadcasting, brochures/leaflets, and banners about controlling their dental and mouth health to Puskesmas or dentists at least once in six months and brushing their teeth regularly and b) increase their participation actively in providing counseling for the people about the importance of dental and mouth health care and explain the way how to take care of their teeth so that there will be no apprehension among them, and 2) the community of Dalu Sepuluh B pay their attention to their dental and mouth health care by brushing their teeth immediately after meals at least twice a day: after breakfast in the morning and after dinner in the evening.en_US
