dc.description.abstractPatients undergoing HD for a long time tend to have a decrease in quality of life. Monitoring biomarkers are one of the factors that play role in the assessment of treatment success in HD patients, which indirectly will affect the quality of life. According to research, there are several biomarkers associated with quality of life, including traditional biomarkers (dialysis adequacy and Hb), nutritional biomarkers (creatinine and BMI), mineral metabolism biomarkers (calcium, phosphate, and CaXP). This study aims to determine what type of biomarkers related to quality of life in chronic HD patients. Assessment of quality of life was measured using total score of the SF-36 health survey. The design of this study using cross sectional method, which is performed against 96 respondent in Rasyida Hemodialysis Center. Bivariate analysis showed that there are several variable associated to quality of life, including creatinine (p = 0,001), BMI (p = 0,03), and phosphate (p = 0,03). Multivariate analysis showed that creatinine and BMI are the variable that have a relationship with quality of life with RR value 4,070 and 2,294 (p = 0,002 dan p = 0,069).en_US
dc.description.abstractPasien yang menjalani HD dalam waktu lama cenderung mengalami penurunan kualitas hidup. Pemantauan biomarker merupakan salah satu faktor yang berperan dalam penilaian keberhasilan pengobatan pasien HD, yang secara tidak langsung juga akan berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup. Berdasarkan penelitian, terdapat beberapa biomarker yang berhubungan terhadap kualitas hidup pasien HD antara lain traditional biomarkers (adekuasi dialisis dan kadar Hb), nutritional biomarkers (serum kreatinin dan IMT), mineral metabolism biomarkers (serum kalsium, serum fosfat, dan CaXP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui biomarker apa saja yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup pasien HD kronik. Penilaian kualitas hidup dilakukan dengan menilai total skor dari kuesioner SF-36. Desain penelitian menggunakan metode cross sectional yang dilakukan terhadap 96 responden di Klinik Spesialis Ginjal dan Hipertensi Rasyida Medan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan beberapa variabel yang berhubungan dengan kualitas hidup, yaitu kreatinin (p = 0,001), IMT (p = 0,03), dan serum fosfat (p = 0,03). Penilaian multivariat didapatkan 2 variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap kualitas hidup yaitu kreatinin dan IMT dengan nilai RR masing-masing 4,070 dan 2,294 (p = 0,002 dan p = 0,069).en_US
