Posmodernisme Dalam Novel Generation X: Tales For Accelerated Culture Dan Bilangan Fu

This research is entitled Postmodernism in Novel Generation X: Tale of Accelerated Culture and Bilangan Fu which analyze postmodernism as the concept in both novel. This research is analyzed the postmodernism by theory of postmodernism by Baudrillard which divide it into two concept, they are simulacra and hyper reality. The method which is used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data from this research is word, phrase,clause, nor sentence that found in the both object novel of the research Generation X: Tales of Accelerated Culture (hereafter abbreviated as GX TOAC) by Douglas Coupland and Bilangan Fu by Ayu Utami. The postmodernism based of Baudrrilard concept, Simulacra and hyper reality, are found in both novel and then being compared. The findings of this research are: simulacra in the novel GX: TOAC electronic media of MTV and Disneyland whereas simulacra in Bilangan FZl are electronic media of Sinetron (Opera soap) and horor moreover technology through gadget and internet. Hyper reality found in the novel GX:TOAC are in the concept of thinking and act thus hyper reality in the novel Bilangan Fu are emotion control, thinking concept and orientation.
