Title: Sintesis Surfaktan (2,2,3-Trimetil) Dioksolanil Glukonat
Authors: Tambunan, Masria Lasma

Issue Date: 5-May-2008
Abstract (other language): A surfactant (2,2,3-trimethyl)-dioxolanil gluconic has been synthesized with chlorination of so/ketal (2,2-dimethyl-4,methyl hidroxy-1,3- dioxolan), and followed by esterification using two phases transfer catalyst triethyl amine hidrocloride, with potasium gluconic. The formation of (2,2,3-trimethyl)-dioxolanil gluconic was confirmed by spectral data FT-IR; 1H-NMR, and the surface activity was determined by Du Nuoy tensiometer. Rendement of the synthetic reactions was 64% and this substance formed has surface activity with HLB value was 10,32.
