dc.description.abstract | Sentence 把bǎ is a unique sentence structure which only can be found in Mandarin. In Bahasa Indonesia, this sentence does not have equivalent word or sentence resulting in a frequent error and difficulty in translating sentence把bǎ into Bahasa Indonesia. In this research, the researcher analyzes the translation of sentence把bǎ form by the students of North Sumatra University majoring Chinese Literature in the Faculty of Culture to find out the form of the errors, the levels of errors, and ascertain solutions to minimalize error in translating sentence把bǎ into Bahasa Indonesia. By using qualitative research methods, reasearcher discovers that the error found in the translations of the sentence把bǎ by the the students of North Sumatra University majoring Chinese Literature in Faculty of Culture can be divided into general translation errors in the form of errors in translating vocabularies and specific translation error which consists of distorted meaning of the source text, too literal translation, and omissions. Hopefully, through this reseach, Mandarin learners will be assisted when they translate把bǎ into Bahasa Indonesia. | en_US |
