    Abstract
    Rhizophora apiculata merupakan jenis pohon besar, dengan akar tunjang dan bercabang-cabang, tinggi total 4-30 m dengan tinggi akar mencapai 0.5-2 m atau lebih di atas lumpur, dan diameter batang mencapai 50 cm. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan komposisi lumpur serasah daun R. apiculata yang pertumbuhan terbaik bagi Bibit R. apiculata, agar dapat digunakan dalam melakukan pembibitan untuk dikemudian hari, dimana akan banyak dilakukan rehabilitas hutan mangrove. Penelitian dilakukan dilapangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 6 perlakuan, yaitu (Kontrol, 95:5%, 90:10%, 85:15%, 80:20% dan 75:25%) yang diulang sebanyak 5 sehingga diperoleh 30 unit percobaan. Persentase hidup bibit R. apiculata tertinggi didapat pada pertumbuhan 85%:15% yaitu 20,62cm. Diameter batang bibit R. apiculata terbesar didapat pada pertumbuhan 95%:5% yaitu 0,17cm. Jumlah daun terbanyak bibit R. apiculata didapat pada pertumbuhan 75%:25% yaitu 6 helai. Luas daun total bibit R. apiculata terbesar di dapat pada pertumbuhan 85:15% yaitu 91,95 cm. Ratio tajuk daun akar terbesat didapat pada bibit R. apiculata dengan pertumbuhan kontrol yaitu 5,12g.
     
    Rhizophora apiculata is a big tree type which is have thick and widely branching “subvention root”, this tree has 4-30 m as it’s total heigth and root heigth that reaching more than 0,5-2 m above mud then 50 cm for it’s stem diameter. The purpose of this research are to get the best composition of the litter and mud of the R. apiculata’s leaves so that can used in the nurseries next time. This research are doing in field. This research used non factorial–complete random system (RAL) as its method with 6 treats (control, 95:5%, 90:10%, 85:15%, 80:20% and 75:25%) which has 5 times repetition, so it came to 30 plants as simple unit. Rhizophora apiculata seedling survival percentage obtained the highest growth of 85%:15% is 20.62 cm. R. apiculata seedling stem diameter of the largest obtained in the growth of 95%:5% was 0.17 cm. Highest number of leaves of R. apiculata seedling growth obtained in 75%:25% ie 6 strands. Total leaf area of R. apiculata seedlings can be the biggest in 85:15% growth is 91.95 cm. The greatest root leaf canopy ratio obtained in R. apiculata seedlings to control the growth of 5.12 g.
