Objective : To determine the ratio of blood calcium levels and urinary calcium levels of preeclamptic patients with normotensive pregnancies. Study design : Analytic study with cross sectional design in H.Adam Malik Hospital, Pirngadi General Hospitals, and satelite hospitas of North Sumatera University. Research subjects to 30 patients with preeclampsia and 30 normotensive pregnant women with gestational age above 20 weeks. Result(s) : Average level of blood calcium in preeclampsia 7.929 mg / dl and in normotensive 8.607 mg / dl, with a t-test p-value <0.05. While the 24-hour urine calcium levels of maternal preeclampsia obtained 107.028 mg/24 hours and in normotensive 204.588, with the results of t-test p-value <0.05. Conclusion: The mean levels of blood calcium and urine calcium of pregnant women in the preeclampsia group was lower than normotensive pregnant women.en_US
