Evaluasi Kenyamanan Termal Ruangan Kelas di SDN 066049 Berdasarkan Indeks PMV Dan PPD
Abstract
Thermal comfort can affect the performance of students in the classroom. Therefore, this study aims to determine the thermal comfort in the classroom with environmental conditions, materials, and existing ventilations. This research method is quantitative and descriptive done by measurement and distribution of the questionnaire and analyzed based on the PMV and PPD. Based on the results of research on class VA and class III in SDN 066049 (East-West orientation), the value of PMV and PPD ranged from 0.17 to 2.17 and 6%-84% in class VA. Meanwhile, the value of PMV and PPD ranged from 0.22 to 2.28 and 6%-88% in class III. From these results, it can be concluded that both classrooms are uncomfortable. This research can be continued to obtain design solutions that can improve the thermal comfort in both classrooms optimally though East-West oriented.
