JUSTER FRANDI BUTARBUTAR Isolate and Examine Potential Phosphate Solubilizing Microbial (PSM) to Solubilize Insoluble Phosphate On Mangrove Forest In Percut Sei Tuan in Deli Serdang regency, under the guidance of DENI ELFIATI and DELVIAN The research was carried out to isolate, examine and identify potential phosphate solubilizing microbial (PSM) to solubilize insoluble phosphate on Mangrove Forest in Percut Sei Tuan in Deli Serdang regency. Samples were took from 30 points use ICRAF method at depth 0-20 cm. The chemical analyze properties of mangrove forest soils conducted in Sumatra Institute for Agricultural Technology while the activities of isolation, and identification of potential trials conducted at the Laboratory of Soil Biology Agroekoteknologi Study Program Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sumatra. Isolation used Pikovskaya media with the source fosfat from Ca3(PO4)2, whereas in the potential test used Ca3(PO4)2, AlPO4, FePO4 and Rock Phosphate (RP) as source of insoluble phosphate. Evaluate the potential PSF qualitatively by measuring the diameter of holozone extensive use of the dilution index. phosphate solubilizing fungi (PSF) and phosphate solubilizing bacterial (PSB) potential measurement quantitatively by measuring levels of dissolved phosphate with Bray-II method. The results obtained 10 isolates PSF and 6 isolates PSB. Largest diameter holozone generated isolates J7 of 1,1854 cm and the smallest diameter cm isolates produced J3 of 1,1005. The measurement results that available most of the phosphate levels were J7 isolates of 53,406 ppm (Ca3PO4 ) and the smallest by B4 isolates of 12,89 ppm (Rock Phosphate). Based on test results concluded the potential for isolates J1, J2, J7 and B4 have the best ability in dissolving phosphate. The results both of macroscopic and microscopically identification showed that isolate number J1, J2, J7 including of Aspergillus genus and B4 including of Pseudomonas genus.
