dc.description.abstractJumlah pertolongan persalinan yang dilakukan oleh dukun bayi di Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang pada tahun 2011 sebesar 38,5%. Jumlah kematian ibu pada pertolongan dukun bayi sebesar 1,3%, sedangkan kematian bayi sebesar 1,6%. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa kinerja dukun bayi dalam pertolongan persalinan belum optimal. Banyak faktor yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dukun bayi seperti faktor individu (umur, lama menjadi dukun bayi terlatih), faktor psikologi (sikap, motivasi) dan pengetahuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik atau explanatory dengan desain cross sectional yang bertujuan menjelaskan faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dukun bayi terlatih. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kejuruan Muda. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 26 dukun bayi terlatih dan seluruhnya dijadikan sampel. Analisis data menggunakan analisis univariat, analisis bivariat dengan uji chi-square, dan analisis multivariat dengan uji regresi logistik ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dukun bayi memiliki kinerja yang baik yaitu 65,4%, sedangkan 34,6% tidak melakukan sesuai prosedur yang telah diajarkan pada saat pelatihan. Motivasi merupakan satu-satunya variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dukun bayi dalam melakukan pertolongan persalinan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kejuruan Muda Kabupaten Aceh Tamiang (p=0,002). Nilai probabilitas dukun bayi dalam pertolongan persalinan dalam analisis multivariat bahwa jika motivasi dukun bayi tinggi maka nilai probabilitas kinerja dukun bayi baik dalam melakukan pertolongan persalinan sebesar 88,88%. Disarankan pimpinan Puskesmas untuk memberikan motivasi kepada seluruh dukun bayi yang ada di wilayah kerjanya agar kinerja seluruh dukun bayi menjadi baik dalam pertolongan persalinan.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe number of delivery assistance carried out by traditional birth attendant in Aceh Tamiang District in 2011 was 38.5%. Maternal Mortality Rate due to delivery assistance carried out by traditional birth attendant was 1.3% while Infant Mortality rate was 1.6%. This reflects that the performance of traditional birth attendant in delivery assistance is not yet optimal. The factors assumed to have influenced the performance of traditional birth attendant were individual factor (age, the length of service as trained traditional birth attendant), psychological factor (attitude and motivation), and knowledge. The purpose of this analytical explanatory survey study with cross-sectional design carried out in the working area of Kejuruan Muda Health Center was to explain the factors influencing the performance of trained traditional birth attendant. The population of this study was 26 trained traditional birth attendants and all of them were selected to be the samples for this study. The data obtained were analyzed through univariate analysis, bivariate analysis with Chi-square test, and multivariate analysis with multiple logistic regression tests. The result of this study showed that 65.4% of the trained traditional birth attendants had good work performance while the other 34.6% did not perform in accordance with the procedures taught in the training. Motivation was the only variable influencing the performance of trained traditional birth attendant in carrying out delivery assistance in the working area of Kejuruan Muda Health Center, Aceh Tamiang District (p = 0.002). The probability value of trained traditional birth attendant in carrying out delivery assistance according to the result of multivariate analysis was that if the motivation of trained traditional birth attendant is high, the probability value of trained traditional birth attendant in good carrying out delivery assistance was 88.88%. The management of Kejuruan Muda Health Center is suggested to motivation to all of the traditional birth attendants in the performance of the entire working area in order to be good midwife in attendance all the birth.en_US
