dc.description.abstractDalam penelitian ini, telah dilakukan penelitian pembuatan aspal emulsi dan telah dipelajari pengaruh penambahan surfaktan alkil benzena sulfonat rantai lurus yang bersifat anionik sebagai bahan pengemulsi terhadap nilai viskositas dan sifat morfologi. Dari data penelitian pembuatan aspal emulsi anionik dengan variasi pencampuran aspal, air dan surfaktan alkil benzena sulfonat rantai lurus diperoleh hasil viskositas optimum yang diukur dengan alat viskosimeter Brookfield sebesar 15.000 senti poise dan hasil optimum morfologi yang dilihat dari foto alat mikroskop pemindai elektron menunjukkan struktur aspal semakin baik dan rapat setelah penambahan surfaktan alkil benzena sulfonat rantai lurus.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn this research, have been done a manufacturing process of asphalt emulsion and a study about the effect towards the viscosity value and morphology characteristic by increasing the linier alkyl benzene sulfonate, one of anionic surfactant as emulsifying agent. A research using the mixture of asphalt, water and linier alkyl benzene sulfonate surfactant has obtained the optimum viscosity. A measurement was conducted with a Brookfield viskosimeter showed 15.000 senti poise. The optimum morphology characteristic can be seen from the scanning electron microscope photograph showed the structure of asphalt is getting better in quality and density after the addition of linier alkyl benzene sulfonate surfactant.en_US
