Pemanfaatan Keyboard Jenis PS/2 Sebagai Keyboard Mikrokontroller Untuk Aplikasi Display Running Text

Abstract

A prototype of a moving message has been made with the Atmega8535 as the processor, the main processor then equipped with a serial scan code converter of PS/2 personal computer keyboard. The PS/2 keyboard is used as the module entering character to the EEPROM then will sequentially sent to the matrix display. The EEPROM will keep the character securely even the module lost of power from the main line. The total character of 512 is then devided into six pages in order to easily maintain the message for replacing and editing according to the page code defined. IC HEF4094 is used as the display driver with a shift register mode in cascade circuit in order to show the whole message on the display.
