Title: Pengaruh Media Tanam dan Pupuk Cair Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Sawi (Brassica juneca L)

Abstract: The aim of this research was to study the influence of planting media and liquid fertilizer to the growth and the production of Mustard green. This experiment held in Jalan Setia Luhur , Medan Helvetia from March until April 2004. The design that used in this experiment is Randomized complete block design in factorial 3x4 with 2 treatment factor as the planting media (M) that consist of 3 degrees was MO - Top soil. Ml = Top Soil : Compost = 1 : 1, M2=Top Soil : Sludge »1:1, factor II as the Bayfolan liquid fertilizer concentrate (B) that consist of 4 degrees was BO = 0 cc/L water, Bl -1,5 cc/L water, B2 = 3 cc/L water, B3 = 4,5 cc/L water. The parameter that observed are the height of plant (cm), number of totally leaf (sheet), the production per sample (g), production per plot (g) and the fresh weight per plot (g). The result of the experiment designated that Media (M2) (top soil : sludge) gave the really influence to ward all parameters like the plant height, number of totally leaf, production per sample, production per plot, and fresh weight per plot. The treatment of all the fertilizer of Bayfolan liquid gave non significant effect to the parameter of plant height, number of totally leaf, production per sample, production per plot the significant effect on the fresh weight per plot The interaction between the planting media and Bayfolan liquid fertilizer was not significant on all parameters.
Abstract (other language): Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media tanam dan pupuk cair terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman sawi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di jalan Setia Luhur, Medan Helvetia dari bulan Maret sampai dengan April 2004. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan dua faktor perlakuan, yaitu: Faktor I: Media Tanam (M) terdiri atas 3 taraf yaitu :Mo = Top soil. Mi = Top Soil + Kompos = 1:1, M2 * Top Soil + Sludge «1:1, Faktor 11 : Konsentrasi Pupuk Cair Bayfolan (B) yang terdiri atas 4 taraf, yaitu: Bo = 0 cc / liter air,. Bi = 1,5 cc / liter air, B2 = 3 cc / liter air, B? = 4,5 cc / liter air. Parameter yang diamati adalah : Tinggi Tanaman (cm), Jumlah Daun (helai), Produksi per Sample (g), Produksi per Plot (g) dan Bobot Segar Tanaman per plot (g). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media M2 (top soil + sludge) memberikan pengaruh sangat nyata terhadap semua parameter, yaitu tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, produksi per sampel, produksi per plot, dan bobot segar tanaman per plot. Perlakuan semua konsentrasi pupuk cair Bayfolan memberikan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, produksi per sample, produksi per plot tetapi berpengaruh nyata terhadap bobot segar tanaman per plot Interaksi antara perlakuan media tanam dan pupuk cair Bayfolan berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua pengamatan parameter yang diamati.
