| Abstract: | The making of hybrid composite has done for glass fiber – coremat by use of
polyester 157 BQTN – ex as matric using press mold method. Flexural property test
hybrid composit done for different composition layers are sample I: Sgwr – Fc – Fc –
Sgwr, sample II: Fc - Sgwr – Sgwr – Fc, sample III: Sgcsm – Fc – Fc Sgcsm and
sample IV Fc – Sgcsm – Sgcsm – Fc. Flexural properties test hybrid composite were
done interlaminar shear strength test (ILSS), impact strength test (Is) and ultimate
flexural strength test (UFS). From on the average result of interlaminar shear strength
test obtained for smple I = 5, 87 MPa sample II = 6,66 MPa, sample III = 6,27 MPa
and sample IV = 5,39 MPa. For Impact strength test obtained sample I = 64,22 kJ/
m2, sample II = 39,46 kJ/ m2, sample III= 42, 42 kJ/ m2, and sample IV = 68,20 kJ/
m2. And ultimate flexural strength test obtained sample I = 159,69 MPa, sampel II=
40,09 MPa, sample III = 186,13 MPa and sample IV 45, 02 MPa. By way of permute
hybrid composite layer will then be change the value of mechanical properties. |
| Abstract (other language): | Telah dilakukan pembuatan komposit hibrid serat gelas – coremat dengan matrik
poliester 157 BQTN – ex dengan metode cetak tekan (press mold). Pengujian sifat
kelenturan dilakukan untuk kompoit hibrid dengan tata letak lapisan yang berbeda –
beda yaitu Sampel I: Sgwr – Fc – Fc – Sgwr, sampel II: Fc - Sgwr – Sgwr – Fc,
sampel III: Sgcsm – Fc – Fc - Sgcsm dan sampel IV Fc – Sgcsm – Sgcsm – Fc.
Pengujian sifat kelenturan dilakukan dengan uji kekuatan geser antar lapisan,
pengujian kekuatan impak dan pengujian kekutan lentur. Dari hasil pengujian
diperoleh rata – rata ILSS untuk sampel I = 5,87 MPa sampel II 6,66 MPa, sampel III
6,27 MPa dan sampel IV 5,39 MPa untuk hasil Is sampel I = 64,22 kJ/ m2, sampel II
39,46 kJ/ m2, sampel III 42, 42 kJ/ m2, dan sampel IV 68,20 kJ/ m2 dan untuk
pengujian kekuatan lentur sampel I = 159,69 MPa, sampel II 40,09 MPa, sampel III
186,13 MPa dan sampel IV 45, 02 MPa. Dengan mengubah susunan tata letak lapisan
komposit hibrid maka akan mengubah sifat mekanisnya. |
