Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Jagung (Zea mays L.) dengan Atrazin + Mesotrion pada Berbagai Jarak Tanam

Abstract

The combination effects of using atrazine + mesotrion and plant distances on growth and production of maize have not been research enough in this region. Therefore, a research has been done in Tanjung selamet during April 2010 until July 2010. The design use split plot design with 2 factor. First factor as a mainframe is plant distance consist of three stages, those are T1 (30 cm x 30 cm), T2 (50 cm x 30 cm), T3 (70 cm x 30 cm). The second factor as subordinate frame is using herbicide consist of H0 (without using herbisida), H1 (using atrazin + mesotrion). The result of research shown, plant distance system significantly effects to plant height 4 and 8 MST, weight of 100 seed, production per plant, production per plot, production per Ha, but not significantly effecs to total of leaf and age of tasseling and harvest indeks. Using herbicide only significantly effects to plant height 4 MST. The interaction between of plant distance system with using herbicide do not significantly effects to plant height, total of leaf, age of tasseling, weight of 100 seed, production per plant, production per plot, production per Ha, and Harvest indeks.
