Penilaian Standar Pelayanan Kesehatan Tingkat I Dan Fasilitasnya Bagi Peserta Jamsostek di Medan

One of the protections for Indonesian workers is to assure that they get health services for workers. PT Jamsostek is the company that responsible for social insurance for workers which include health insurance. However, there were complaints and shortage that should be reviewed. The objective of this study is to assess the standard of health service and facilities given to the customers in Medan, based of the standards stipulated by Jamsostek. The cross sectional study involves 194 customers of Jamsostek served in 13 health service agencies at level one I (HSAI) in Medan. the variables of the health service received by customers evaluated using three categories: good, fair and poor. The variables, encompassing general practitioner physician service, dentist service, medicine service, emergency, unit service, family planning service, mother and child service, medicine service and health facilities, are analyzed with t test. The results using p<0.05 indicate a significant difference in almost each health service variables. This means a lower health service given to the customers than that stated by Jamsostek. It is recommended that the criteria and procedure of the HSAI selection be strictly implemented and the selected HSAI be periodically evaluated and trained.
