Analisis Dampak Usaha Kerajinan Eceng Gondok Terhadap Sosial Ekonomi Masyarakat Di Kecamatan Serbajadi Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

Abstract

Industry of crafting have rounded become one of business the economic crisis. Many crafting product with the high economics value and the request to the goods increasing, not merely in country but become the export commodity. One of the raw material of crafting business using water hyacinth. Formulation of the problem in this research is how the impact of water hyacinth business crafting for economic social of society at Serbajadi Subdistrict of Serdang Bedagai District, and how the influence of economics social of water hyacinth business crafting for regional development at Serdang Bedagai District. The research objective is to determine know the growth of the water hyacinth business crafting and analyse the impact to economic social of society at Serbajadi Subdistrict of Serdang Bedagai District, and to determine and analyse the social economic influence of water hyacinth business crafting to regional development at Serdang Bedagai District. The sample in this study all of the water hyacinth crafter and their employee at Karang Tengah Village at Serbajadi District as many 32 people. Data collection techniques conducted through interviews, questionnaire and study the documentation. The data analyse conducted with the different test of mean and multiple linear regression. The results shows that water hyacinth business crafting have a positive effect to change of economics social of society. The water hyacinth business crafting have improved the society prosperity, specially crafter and its employees. Thereby, the water hyacinth business crafting become the one of employment to society. The change of economics social of society hereinafter have an effect to regional development, specially at Karang Tengah Village of Serbajadi Subdistrict, and generally at Serdang Bedagai District. The effect to regional development represent the multiplier effect water hyacinth business crafting in the region.
