Title: Perhitungan Cross Section Hamburan Elektron-Atom Dengan Menggunakan Analisis Gelombang Parsial

Abstract: Partial wave analysis is used to calculate the electron-atom elastic scattering cross section. Partial wave expansion is suitable to solve the cases of scattering on the low energy and intermediate energy (a few eV to a few keV, in general it is lower than 10 keV). Therefore, we consider partial wave of incident electron to impact the target atomic, low energy scattering, so that only components contribute to the scattering, that is only the s-waves suffer appreaciable scattering. The magnitude of cross section on this electron scattering equal to geometrical cross section of hard sphere.
Abstract (other language): Analisis gelombang parsial digunakan untuk menghitung tampang lintang hamburan elastik elektron – atom. Ekspansi gelombang parsial sangat cocok untuk menyelesaikan kasus – kasus hamburan pada energi rendah dan menengah (beberapa eV sampai beberapa keV, atau secara umum < 10 keV). Karena gelombang parsial elektron yang datang menumbuk atom target dianggap energi rendah, elektron yang terhambur dari target adalah pada (pada gelombang-s). Besar tampang lintang untuk hamburan elektron ini merupakan luas geometri bola.
