dc.description.abstractPenerapan prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG) memegang peranan penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan administrasi di Rumah Sakit Umum dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh. Dalam pelaksanaannya prinsip GCG belum diterapkan dengan baik misalnya belum adanya keterbukaan informasi tentang penggunaan keuangan, penerimaan pegawai yang bersifat tertutup, tidak adanya sistim reward, promosi jabatan yang tidak sesuai dengan ketentuan dan kebijakan pimpinan yang belum berpihak kepada karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis penerapan prinsip GCG (transparansi, akuntabilitas, keadilan, dan partisipasi) terhadap kinerja karyawan di Bagian Administrasi Umum Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2009. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan disain Explanatory Study. Populasi adalah kepala bagian dan kepala urusan administrasi umum yang berjumlah 38 orang yang semuanya dijadikan sampel. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda pada α=5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transparansi, akuntabilitas, keadilan, dan partisipasi berada dalam kategori baik serta kinerja karyawan dalam kategori baik. Terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara transparansi (p=0,008); akuntabilitas (p=0,000); keadilan (p=0,004); dan partisipasi (p=0,015) dengan kinerja karyawan. Transparansi merupakan variabel yang dominan memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Kepada pihak manajerial rumah sakit disarankan agar menerapkan prinsip GCG dalam menciptakan dan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Diharapkan juga agar penerapan prinsip GCG benar-benar diterapkan di setiap lini struktur organisasi, sehingga akan menjamin setiap karyawan bekerja sesuai dengan bidangnya dan mendapatkan hak sesuai dengan keahlian dan kemampuannya.en_US
dc.description.abstractThe principal of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) have an important role in improving the performance of the administration staffs at the dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital, Banda Aceh. The implementation, of the principal of GCG was not applied properly, for instance, there was unclear information about the use of fund, the recruitment of new employees, and the reward system. Besides that, the promotion system did not follow the rules and the managerial policy was not stood up for employees. The aim of this study was to analyze the principle of application of GCG (transparency, accountability, fairness and participation) on the employees performance at Administration Department of dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital Banda Aceh in 2009. This study used explanatory study design, with the sample of 38 employees at the Administration Department of RSUDZA Banda Aceh. The data were gathered by the interviews and questionnaires. The data were analyzed by multiple linear regression test at α=5%. The result of this study showed that the transparency, accountability, fairness, and participation were in good category and the employees performance was in good category. There were a positive and significant influenced between transparency (p=0.008); accountability (p=0.000); fairness (p=0.004); and participation (p=0.015) with employees performance. Transparency variable was the dominant factor influenced on the employees performance. It is suggested that the hospital management should apply the principle of GCG in creating and improving the employees performance. It is also suggested the principle of GCG should be applied in every lines of organization structure so that they would guarantee that every employees worked according to his field and obtained his right according to his skill and capability.en_US
