dc.description.abstractThis research aimed at examinating worker profile in Medan City. Using the elasticity concept found that employment elasticity coefficient is 0,207% (inelastic), mean that each 1% economic growth cause employment oportunity open for 0,207%. While the most sencitive sector for employment absorbtion is financial sector with 1,023% employmnent elasticity coefficient (elastic). From the demand side the average worker educational level dominaly occupied by Diploma III (40,67%). Followed by graduate level by 30,67% and secondary school (25,33%) up until 2010.en_US
