| Abstract: | The efficiency of irrigation water distribution is the percentage of water
that used by plant compared to those supplied. During distribution of water from
intake to the rice field some water was lost especially in the primary, secondary
and tertiary channels due to evaporation, seepage and percolation. To comply
with irrigation water, enough water should be supplied and distributed to every
channel in the rice field. Therefore the discharge should be measured to make
water distribution is as efficient as possible. At this research the inflow and
outflow discharge in every channel were measured by float ball; efficiency in the
primary channel was 79,46 %, in the secondary was 69,8 %, and in the tertiary
was 77,27 %. |
| Abstract (other language): | Efisiensi penyaluran air irigasi adalah perbandingan antara jumlah air yang
digunakan oleh tanaman dengan jumlah air yang tersedia dinyatakan dalam
persentase. Pada saat penyaluran air mulai dari pintu masuk sampai ke petakan
sawah terjadi kehilangan air pada saluran primer, sekunder dan tersier yang
disebabkan oleh evaporasi, rembesan maupun perkolasi. Untuk memenuhi
kebutuhan air irigasi debit air yang tersedia harus cukup untuk disalurkan ke
setiap saluran sampai kepetakan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengukuran debit
agar penyaluran air dapat dimanfaatkan seefisien mungkin. Penelitian ini
dilakukan dengan mengukur debit masuk dan debit keluar pada setiap saluran
dengan menggunakan bola pelampung, sehingga didapat nilai efisiensi pada
saluran primer 79,46 %, sekunder 69,8 %, dan tersier 77,27 %. |
