Gibberellic acid (GA3) is a growth hormone of plants stimulating growth and development of the cells. This research has been conducted to study the effectiveness of gibberellic acid (GA3) supplementation in stimulating the Efficiency Conversion Ingested (ECI) and the efficiency conversion digested (ECD) and then Growth of the Silkworm (Bombyx mori L.). The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with five treatments (0, 50, 100, 150, 200 ppm of GA3) and thirty replications. The results showed that 100 ppm of GA3 increased consumption of dry matter per day, digestion, the efficiency conversion ingested (ECI) and the efficiency conversion digested (ECD). Effectiveness of GA3 to the growth of silkworm can be increase the last instars V of body weight, pupa and silk gland of weight. The GA3 increased mortality to 150 ppm GA3 also, and shorten feeding periods or instars (100 ppm) and increasing development of the front and back parts of the silkworm gland cells.
