dc.description.abstractThis article discusses behaviour of syntactic argument in the sentence structure of coordination in bahasa Indonesia. By using syntactic typological approach, the research purpose is to describe the sentence types in bahasa Indonesia. The results of the research show that bahasa Indonesia has syntactic ergativity properties because they allow the deletion of coreferencial argument if their functions are as patient and subject. But bahasa Indonesia also has the syntactic accusative properties because argument of deleted intransitive clauses coreference with agent.en_US
