During the growing season of April to June 2004 Approxymately one trip per week, more frequently during wet periods were made into the forest to collect lignicolous macromycetes. Due to the immense imponance of the biodiversity in Sibolangit forest for future understanding and due to no information penaining to the neshly mushrooms and its distribtJtion, this study, 10 provide a brief description of mushrooms QCCuring in Sibolangit forest, North Sumatra.
