Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan Terhadap Tingkat Pendapatan Perbandingan Antara Empat Hasil Penelitian

Abstract

Education improves personal capability, attitude and behavior. Education process sacrifices time, cost and effort so naturally the education should escalate the income of the participant in his life in the future. The higher the level of education should provide a higher level of income in average. This paper wraps up 4 student theses of the Graduate School of PWD USU which links the level of education with the level of income of their respondents. Their conclusion can be divided into two groups. One group concluded that there is a significant link between level of education with level of income. The second group concluded that there is no significant link between the level of education with the level of income. Further investigation shows that the backgrounds about occupancy of the two groups are different. The first group that shows a significant link, the occupation of the respondent is varieties and with different level of position in their job. The second group that concluded no significant link, the occupation of the respondent is homogenous and no level of position in their jobs. From the above findings we can conclude that to make higher education provides higher level of income, there must be variety occupation to choose and the jobs provide different level of position. This means that development in education should be in tandem with development in economy. If economics is expanding, jobs are more available and the participant has chance to get a better job which is compliance to his level of education.
