Uji Bioaktivitas Penghambatan Ekstrak Metanol Ganoderma Spp. Terhadap Petumbuhan Bakteri Dan Jamur

A study on the effect of methanol extract of Ganoderma spp. on growth of bacteria and fungi has been done. The study was aimed to know the ability of the extract to inhibit growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, and Candida albicans using disc-diffusion method. The result showed that the methanol extract of fruiting bodies of Ganoderma inhibited the growth of tested microbes, which were varied among the Ganoderma. However, G. lucidum were able to reatively inhibit both S. aureus and E. coli. Concentration of the extract should be increased more than 20% to take the extract into an effect of inhibition of C. albicans growth.
