A Comparative Study on The Effect of Compounded Latex and Diffusion of Curatives on Tensile Properties of Natural Latex Films
MetadataShow full item record
The conventional method of making natural rubber (NR) latex films were produced by dipping containing anti oxidant the dried films were then soaked into curatives (sulfur, ZnO and ZDEC as accelerator) at temperature 70°C, both sides and and dried at temperature 110 °C. The drying time used was at 10 minutes. Effect of the soaking temperature were studied. The tensile properties of the film increase with soaking temperature and soaking time.
