The role of nonverbal communication in communication process of total health. The nonverbal communication is wordless communication, a process as vocal and nonvocal or either by intentional or unintentional. The nonverbal communication several purposes in communication process to express the feeling, to regulate the interaction, to validate the verbal messages, to maintain self-image, and to maintain the relationship. Despite of myths of ten accompanying the perceptions of individual regarding nonverbal behavior, nonverbal communication is closely related to verbal communication, this is one of so many elements composing the communication process of human being, not make human beings transparent (openly), and nonverbal behavior has many meanings. Five main dimensions of nonverbal communication are: kinesics, proxemic, paralinguistic, touch, and factors of environment and physic. Kinesics is an observation regarding the movement of body and covering subcategories like signal, illustrator, display of effects, and adapter. And even facial expression and vision are two another nonverbal fields of ten considered to be part of kinesics. The main second dimension of nonverbal communication is proxemic, an observation regarding the ways human uses and interprets the space in their interaction. Proxemic focuses on ways in which peoples manage their territorial problems and invasion of personal space, and how various types of distance to effect the communication. Voices and vocal clues accompanying the verbal communication uttered are the part of paralinguistic, third dimension of nonverbal communication. Touch, plays a special role in growth and development of human in building the interpersonal relationship and in process of recovery included in fourth dimension and fifth dimension of nonverbal communication; environmental and physical factors can be analyzed trough perceptive types formed by peoples about their environment and the way of this perception to effect the interaction in the environment. The effect of voice, object order, and structural clue are important factors in creating and decreasing an environment for an effective health communication.
