    Evaluasi Sistem Drainase Pada Daerah Irigasi Ular Di Kawasan Singosari Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai

    Abstract
    Drainage canal in irrigation system must be able to hold excess of water and run off from irrigation system. If the drainage canal could not hold the excess of water and run off, flood would be happened. To plan the flood discharge the Rational method can be used. In this Research the data comprised of rainfall and land use data. Rainfall data were transformed into hours intensity rainfall through Mononobe method. The changes of land use at irrigation area in Singosari gave a significant impact on flood discharge. Evaluation of drainage system in Singosari must be done to get the capacity of drainage canal and to predict flood. It could be concluded from the evaluation that drainage canal at Singosari could not hold the flood discharge.
     
    Dalam sistem irigasi saluran drainase harus mampu menampung kelebihan air dari sistem irigasi dan limpasan air hujan (aliran permukaan). Jika saluran drainase tidak dapat menampung kelebihan air dan limpasan air hujan maka akan terjadi banjir. Untuk mendapatkan debit banjir rancangan dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan metode Rasional. Data yang digunakan adalah data curah hujan harian dan data tata guna lahan. Data ini kemudian ditransformasikan menjadi intensitas hujan jam-jaman menggunakan metode Mononobe. Perubahan tata guna lahan pada daerah irigasi Ular kawasan Singosari memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap debit banjir. Evaluasi sistem drainase pada kawasan Singosari dilakukan untuk mengetahui kapasitas saluran dan debit puncak (banjir) yang mungkin terjadi. Dari hasil evaluasi disimpulkan bahwa saluran drainase di kawasan Singosari tidak mampu menampung debit puncak.
