| Abstract: | Penelitian mengenai, “Laju Pertumbuhan Populasi Rotifera (Brachionus Plicatilis) Pada Media Kombinasi Kotoran Ayam, Pupuk Urea Dan Pupuk Tsp, Serta Penambahan Beberapa Variasi Ragi Roti” telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus 2009. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Sistematika Hewan, Departemen Biologi, Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda Eksperimen dengan Analisis Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) Non Faktorial dengan 4 media perlakuan , yaitu media M0 terdiri dari 200 mg/2l Kotoran ayam + 4,0 mg/2l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l pupuk TSP (Kontrol), media M1 terdiri dari 200 mg/2l Kotoran ayam + 4,0 mg/2l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l pupuk TSP + 0,15 g Ragi roti, media M2 terdiri dari 200 mg/2l Kotoran ayam + 4,0 mg/2l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l pupuk TSP + 0,30 g Ragi roti, media M3 terdiri dari 200 mg/2l Kotoran ayam + 4,0 mg/2l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l pupuk TSP + 0,45 g Ragi roti, serta 6 ulangan dengan 8 kali waktu pengamatan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi perbedaan laju pertumbuhan populasi Brachionus plicatilis setelah penambahan ragi roti. Laju petumbuhan populasi tertinggi didapatkan pada waktu pengamatan awal, yaitu pada hari ke-2 sampai dengan hari ke-4. Media yang terbaik terdapat pada media M2 sebesar 8,2335 ind x 2 x 10-3 x hari-1, diikuti media M3 sebesar 6,6918 ind x 2 x 10-3 x hari-1, selanjutnya media M1 sebesar 6,6474 ind x 2 x 10-3 x hari-1. Dan laju pertumbuhan populasi terendah terdapat pada media M0 sebesar 6,1278 ind x 2 x 10-3 x hari-1. |
| Abstract (other language): | A Reaserch of “The Growth Rate of Rotifera Population (Brachionus plicatilis) at Combination Medium of Chicken Manure, Urea Fertilizer and TSP Fertizer and Along with to Add Yeast bread Variation” has been conducted in August 2009. This research was carried out at Animal Sistematic Laboratorium at Biology Department, Mathematic and Natural Science Faculty, North Sumatera University. The research used Non Factorial Complete Randomized Design with 4 treatments medium, that is medium of M0 consists of 200 mg/2l chicken manure + 4,0 mg/l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l TSP (control), medium M1 consist of 200 mg/2l chicken manure + 4,0 mg/l Urea + 2 mg/2l TSP + 0,15 g yeast bread, medium of M2 consist of 200 mg/2l chicken manure + 4,0 mg/l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l TSP + 0.30 g yeast bread and medium of M3 consist of 200 mg/2l chicken manure + 4,0 mg/l Urea + 3,0 mg/2l TSP + 0.45 g yeast bread and 6 replications which eight time for observation
The result indicated differences growth rate of Brachionus plicatilis population after gave food. Highest growth of Brachionus plicatilis population was found at first observation, second day until fourth day. The best growth of Brachionus plicatilis population was found in M2 medium with number 8,2335 ind x 2 x 10-3 x day-1. Followed by M3 medium with 6,6918 ind x 2 x 10-3 x day-1and then M1 medium with 6,6474 ind x 2 x 10-3 x day-1. But the worst growth rate was found in M0 medium with number 6,1278 ind. x 2 x 10-3 x day-1. |
