Coffee is an important export commodity for Indonesia, but Indonesia often lose ground to a competitor in international market because the low quality of the coffee commodity from Indonesia. At the time, the variety of coffee that known by the people are Arabicca coffee and Robusta coffee, but now there is a new variety of coffee that productivity is higher than another variety. Most of people especially the people in Kabupaten Toba Samosir called this new variety Ateng Coffee. Ateng Coffee have the high productivity and price. Based on this condition, there is a big opportunity to increase the coffee production in Indonesia and to increase export volume, in one condition the quality of this commodity have to be increase. By the existence of incentive in high price rate, it is expected that there will be increase in coffee production Which is directly or indirectly can increase the farmer's income and automatically increase their family welfare.
