dc.description.abstractThe informal business sector is one of the Government's mainstays in absorbing excess labour, as well as in increasing, as well as increasing income for lower levels of society. One informal business sector which merit attention, is that of stall olders selling garments, This study analyzed factors influencing the income rate of vegetable seller in Bukittinggi. 3 variables were found which influence the income rate of vegetable seller. These are capital, hours worked and place. A correlated analysis of the three variables shows that they all affect net income of vegetable sellers upto as much as 73,60% and after doing an F test this influence is shown to be significant. A double regressive analysis with a test star dard significance / of 0,05 proved that capital and place have amajor affect. All varialles have a benefical influence.To increase income it is important to add the beneficial variables, and to reduce the impact of the negative variables.en_US
